LOOK OUT - SAFETY ALERT!!!!!!
One of our member firms has had multiple agents contacted by a young man and his mother. The name the man is using is Thomas Shelton. They state they are interested in vacant homes, as they need a home ASAP. There have been some red flags with these folks:
- The agent called "their lender" to get a pre-approval letter and was informed they weren't working with anyone by that name;
- The agent called their supposed place of employment and they said they had no one employed by that name;
- And now the person cannot be reached.
Always exercise safety practices in your business and trust your instincts.
