Daniel’s Full Obituary :
Daniel Joseph Wertzberger, 30, Higbee, MO passed away near Harrisburg, MO on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
Daniel was born on May 4, 1987 in St. Louis, MO the son of John and Janet (Wesselschmidt) Wertzberger. He graduated from Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, MO in 2005 and attended Moberly Area Community College. Daniel loved animals, cooking, the outdoors, football and baseball and spending time with his family and many friends. His humor, compassion and fun loving positive attitude will be an unbearable loss to us all. His parents could not have been more proud of the man he had become. We, who knew and loved Daniel, will miss him forever.
He is survived by his parents, John and Janet Wertzberger of Higbee, MO; one brother, Michael Wertzberger of Higbee, MO; uncle and aunt, Gary and Terry Wesselschmidt and their son, Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to College of Veterinary Medicine, Attn: Advancement Office, W-210 Veterinary Medicine Building, For: Daniel Wertzberger, Columbia, MO 65211.
Also – here at the Re/Max office; we are taking donations for the family just for anything they may need; as well as unexpected expenses… we will accept donations until further notice – you may drop off donations to Monica at the Front Desk.
Our deepest condolences are extended to Jan and her family at this time.
