It's that time of year again for the annual Adopt-an-Angel backpack school supply drive.  This is the 14th year of the project & our very first year running this. Nancy Holliday as you know has ran this program for the last 13 years & we could not be more excited too carry on her legacy. 

This program benefits the children who live at The Columbia Square.

This year, They have 141 kids that need help with back-to-school supplies.

In case you're not familiar with the program, it is similar to what the Salvation Army does at Christmas.  We will give you a child's name, grade and their school supply list, and you buy and fill a backpack with those supplies.  It costs about $25 for a lower grade and $35 for an upper grade (how much you spend on the backpack determines if you can stay in that price.) We do K-12.

Don't want to shop?  We will happily do it for you. Just make your check out to PFHC (Phoenix Family Housing Corp. and drop it off at the Re/Max office, 33 E Broadway Suite 200 or call one of us & we will happily come get it from you. If you decide too drop it off all we ask is that you please let one of us know it's coming, because we will continue to fund-raise until we know we have enough money. It is ALL tax deductible.

 

For a child's name, please call me at 573-673-6331 or Joy Davison at 573-228-0950 or shoot one of us an e-mail specifying what grade and sex of child (or children) you prefer.  Backpacks are due at the Re/Max office by August 1, so you have plenty of time too shop!!
