Dear Re/Max Boone Realty:

I am writing to let you know about a very special event coming to Columbia this October on Homecoming weekend that we hope you will consider helping to sponsor.

Mizzou alumna and Grammy award-winning artist Sheryl Crow will perform a benefit concert for MU’s School of Music building project at the Missouri Theatre on Friday, October 9, 2015. This unique event will be a rare opportunity for the Columbia community to see Ms. Crow perform in such a small and intimate setting.

School of Music students and faculty play an important role in the cultural vitality of Columbia. Whether it’s mentoring young students, marching at halftime of every Mizzou football game, or performing at smaller concert events, they make a significant impact on Columbia. A new facility is needed to meet increased demand and the changing needs of our world-class students and faculty.

Your sponsorship can help make this happen. Attached to this email are sponsorship levels and corresponding benefits. Some sponsorships come with VIP tickets that, along with some of the best seats in the house, include access to a special VIP meet-and-greet reception with Ms. Crow. Below is a list of typical media placements:

·      Print and electronic publications in the Columbia Daily Tribune and the Missourian

·      Recognition in the playbill and on event signage

·      Posters displayed outside the Missouri Theatre Box Office

·      MU informational email blast to all students and faculty

·      Promotion in announcements to the University Concert Series’ approximately 35,000 email subscribers

·      KOMU and KBIA advertising

I will be following up with you in the next few days. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me at (573) 884-8051 with any questions.
